Edu Fund Partner Scholarship

Private dollars for families choosing one of the church or community schools that take part, aimed at what is still owed once EFS and school aid are counted. A counselor confirms the terms in your funding check.

How does the Edu Fund Partner Scholarship work for East Tennessee families?

It is privately raised money that steps in last, after EFS or the IEA and the school's own aid, and only at church and community schools that have signed on. What it covers differs by school; a counselor walks you through it in the funding check, with no dollar figure promised up front.

It is most useful at Category IV church schools, which cannot accept EFS at all.

How do I learn whether a Knoxville-area school participates?

Ask during the funding check; the counselor has the current list. Everything else on this site, from EFS to Catholic aid, applies the same whether or not your school is part of it.

The scholarship does not change a school's EFS status: a Category IV church school that participates still cannot take EFS; for a child with a qualifying IEP, the IEA remains the state option there.
