How much is left after EFS at a Knoxville private school?

It depends on the school. At Knoxville Catholic High School's published 2027-28 Catholic rate, tuition, fees and textbook rental total $18,600, leaving $11,070 after a $7,530 award; at Sacred Heart Cathedral School's 2026-27 Catholic rate for one child, $3,120 of tuition remains.

The last two rows use illustrative tuition, not any school's actual price; Tennessee does not collect tuition in its school filings.

What closes the gap after EFS in Knoxville?

Need-based school aid, parish or church-member pricing, multi-child rates and payment plans come next. Catholic families add the Knoxville Regional Catholic Schools Operating Fund through FACTS, and from 2027 the federal tax-credit scholarships may add another layer.

If the bill comes in under $7,530, the leftover stays in the account for approved purchases like books, uniforms, tutoring or a device.
